Keep having serious major problems with my Sketchup and Vray models.Oct 16, 2011 Sketchup is 32 bit and uses one core so really my decision is made already i'll take the i7 with the amd the turbo boost will reach 3.4 something i hope so it should fly.I also heard lion is a little ram hungry so i'll most probably upgrade the ram to 8 or 16GB. Now all i'm thinking is i may as well upgrade to the 7,200 drive as well. There are many alternatives to SketchUp for Mac if you are looking to replace it. SketchUp 2015 and earlier isn't supported on Mac OS X Sierra, but is supported on Mac OS X Mountain Lion, Mavericks, and Yosemite. Additionally you must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or greater. On the Mac, I have to take the same few Ruby files and have them copied into the Libray/Application Support/Google/Sketchup 8/plugins folder. Previous to Mountain Lion, I had created a Package Installer to accomplish this.
I'm currently modelling a large office interior and its been fully modelled and I've started to add Vray materials - most of them downloaded from Chaos and FlyingArchitect (all placed in the same folder on my desktop) - all been going well until I start to render - major crashing happens and then every time I reopen the model all goes well until Vray starts to reload the materials - BANG it crashes. So now I can't even open the weeks work I've done - bugger.
I'm using the most recent Sketchup and Vray - so really a bit annoyed as I've spent a bit of money purchasing these two products - and now its costing me time and effort - which is a shame as I enjoy using both products and produce brilliant results.Sketchup For Mac Torrent

Any help or more info required can be provided.
Just need to find out what the problem is so I can understand why this is happening and if there's anything in the future I can do to my models and render settings to make my work less frustrating.

I've imported a very simple cad drawing (2d) into sketch up. I've never seen sketch up this slow. This is totally not workable.
I've tried to import the same autocad 2D drawing on the PC in sketch up and it works like a charm. (This is an 5 year old PC)
What is happening? This is not what I've signed up for....
